Privacy at Feemag

Messages you send
When you use the contact form, your name, email address, topic and message are emailed to our inbox (admin@feemag.com) through Spacemail. We use them only to reply about your project, and we delete them if you ask. To stop repeated spam, the server briefly remembers your IP address for ten minutes; it is not stored anywhere else.
Usage statistics
We use Google Analytics (through Firebase) to see which pages people read and whether the contact form works, so we know what to improve. It records pages viewed, the site you came from, your approximate country, your device and browser type, clicks on links and buttons, how far you scroll, page speed, and whether a message was sent. It never records your name, email address or what you write.
Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off, and there is no advertising. feemag.com, blog.feemag.com and tools.feemag.com share these statistics, so a visit that moves between them counts as one visit.
Your choice
If you are in Europe (the EU, the UK, Switzerland and nearby countries), nothing is counted until you choose Allow in the banner. Elsewhere, statistics are on unless you decline. Browsers that send Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track are never counted.
Your choice is saved in a cookie named fm_analytics for one year and applies to every Feemag site. When statistics are on, Google Analytics sets its own _ga cookies. Your light or dark theme choice is kept in this browser’s local storage. On blog.feemag.com, the author studio sets a sign-in cookie for Feemag authors only; readers never get it.
Who else handles data
- Vercel hosts the site and processes standard request information, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and keep them secure.
- Spacemail delivers messages from the contact form.
- Google receives the usage statistics above, when they are on.
